20th November 2023 Hiking - Walking: Landguard circuit Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny start then cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Monday 20th November - walk *** – Sunrise and Landguard circuit including lunch - sunny periods. Headed to the clifftop at the end of our road to get some sunrise pics to sent to the TV weather, got some nice photos but sadly none were picked:( Then home for breakfast and do my exercisesand because we needed to go to Lidl we decided to drive to Landguard for a walk around the lovely nature reserve and have a picnic on the old jetty:) We parked at 12.45 and sadly this mornings sun had disappeaered but it was still pleasant enough day for a walk with the usual cool skys. We headed to the view dock view point which fairly busy but it quietened down as we set off along the beach past the new concrete disabled footpath to our sopt on the jetty, not much boat action today, just a couple of pilot boats heading out, the the light breeze offshore the sea was like a millpool:) Well rested we carry on through the reserve, along the beach and back to our van. Lidl for a quick shop and home for a cuppa. Photo Album here |
